WIP Event & Activities Code of Conduct
All attendees, speakers, sponsors and volunteers at our events are required to agree with the following code of conduct.
WIP aims to build a collaborative environment that supports innovation and creative growth among developers. We value the participation of everyone in the mobile developer community and want everyone in attendance to have a positive and fun experience. In other words, don’t do something that your 82-year-old grandma would not be proud of seeing you do. If you do - you’re out of there!
tl;dr: show up, be nice, hang out with cool people and you’ll have a good time
The Long Version:
Wireless Industry Partnership Connector Inc, is dedicated to providing an inclusive environment for everyone in attendance, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, citizenship or religion. All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience including people of various backgrounds.
Harassment includes but is not limited to:
offensive verbal comments
sexual images or clothing in public spaces (including exhibitors and expert tables)
harassing photography or recording
inappropriate Tweets or other comments on social media sites
sustained disruption of talks or other events
inappropriate physical contact and unwelcome sexual attention.
Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.
If you witness a participant engaging in inappropriate behavior, are being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the event staff immediately. event staff can be identified by WIPJam branded clothing.
Any unnecessary disruption during the event will not be tolerated. Event participants violating these rules may be asked to leave the conference without a refund at the sole discretion of the conference organizers.
