LiMo

The LiMo Platform is a Linux based mobile software platform developed by the LiMo Foundation - a consortium of mobile industry leaders working together within an open and transparent governance model. Over 50 handsets based on the R1 and R2 versions of the LiMo Platform have been shipped to date; the R3 Platform was completed in February 2010. LiMo’s Board includes leading operators, handset vendors and ISVs from all corners of the globe. The 11 operators within LiMo represent nearly 1 billion subscribers worldwide.  A full description of LiMo Foundation and its activities can be found on the LiMo Foundation website.
